Contents, Copyright Issues and Navigating the Page
.
Because of copyright restrictions, most of the works of literature included here were those published before the 1920's. Thus, most of the works of literature included here are from sources written in English as well as works of other non-English writers that were translated to English, before the aforementioned year.
We are still developing policies on how to present (in depth) contemporary poems and poets without violating copyright laws. The "fair use" principle will be adopted to present the work of more contemporary writers. For the moment, this site will link to internet resources with a selection of the poetry of some contemporary writers.
Warning. As much as possible, we shall cite the sources of the literature archived here. However, be forewarned that the presence of a work of literature in this website or the webpages cited herein must not be taken to mean that the work is not copyrighted nor to imply that the copyright has expired.
Navigating the site. Click on the icons (main headings, left navigation links and the A-Z navigation links above) as well as the superscript (underlined) symbols or numbers and letters, after a poet's name to visit online resources.
