Introduction The Nutrition and Metabolism website is a database directory that includes internet links to topics about food, diet, weight control and exercise, foodborne diseases, illnesses and their causative agents, diseases caused by metabolic malfunctions (e.g., diabetes) or aggravated by diet practices (e.g., cardiovascular diseases), as well as nutrition and metabolism related topics like antibiotic resistance, food irradiation, organic farming, genetically manufactured organisms (GMOs), and others related to food production, processsing & technology.
