AIDS Primer is a database on HIV and AIDS, tagerting various audiences, from lay people, people living with HIV/AIDS, caregivers, policy makers, young people, etc. These are reflected in the sections developed, so far:

For your convenience, the major topics are included in the left navigation links. Note also that almost all the icons (e.g., AIDS Primer) and figures found throughout the website, as well as the underlined text, can be used to specific sections of AIDS Primer Moreover, refer to the other related sites (see left navigation links) if you are interested to visit other health and science topics, not discusse in the AIDS Primer.

In the future, the above major sites, as well as additional sites, shall be categorized further to target specific audiences. We welcome volunteers to help develop and monitor specific topics or areas, especially the Country/Region HIV/AIDS Database.

As stated in the Introduction, special care has been taken to include only the most reliable sources of information. This policy is relaxed a bit in the newswatch section.
