Please view specific sections of
"AIDS Primer" for basic writing relevant to AIDS and those intended for lay people.
Read also, sections like "Why this page?" of the Treasures of the Internet website to get a sense of my writing style and to have an insight of the philosophical principles behind my interest in creating
internet database webpages.
- Technical writing.
A online draft of a technical treatise on "Population and Food Production*" demonstrates the complex interrelationships of population and food production. The novel mathematical formulations proposed in the paper attempt to reconcile the predictions of the Malthusian hypothesis with the propositions of Ester Boserup (and the "cornucopian" school) on factors affecting food production, limits to growth (carrying capacity) and sustainability of human-dominated ecosystems.

- As a researcher, I assisted supervisor (while a postgraduate staff) in reviewing scientific articles and subsequently served as a scientific reviewer myself of submitted articles to professional journals. I coordinated preparation, submission and publication of journal articles, ensuring compliance to publication style sheets; and subsequent responses to comments of scientific reviewers.
- I served as the "Managing Editor" of the school paper in high school.
As a researcher, I am very familiar with medical databases and online tools for searching specific science and medical topics, as well as general information resources. Because of my interest in ecology and ecosystems, including human ecosystems, I am very familiar also with internet population and production databases of several United Nations agencies, US Census Bureau and other sources. Please view also "search sections" of AIDS Primer, Health Resources and the different sections of Treasures of the Internet, for databases that are routinely searched.
