of abnormal cells, masses of which are called tumors. Types of cancer
include carcinoma (affecting the epithelial cells), sarcoma (affecting
soft tissues), lymphoma and leukemia (affecting lymphoid tissue) and glioma
(affecting brain tissue). Cancers may be treated with chemotherapy, radiation
therapy or surgery.
