Hepatitis C (HCV, formerly Non-A, Non-B Hepatitis):SFAF
viral disease that causes inflammation of the liver. A chronic carrier
state occurs in some individuals and may result in life-threatening liver
damage, cirrhosis and/or liver cancer. HCV is spread via contaminated
blood products or shared needles. There is no standard treatment or vaccine.
