  • Antisense: SFAF
    a complementary piece of genetic material (DNA or RNA) that binds to another piece of DNA or RNA by base-pairing, which prevents that DNA/RNA fragment from being used to synthesize new proteins. HIV antisense therapy uses a sequence of oligonucleotides to binds to HIV messenger RNA and block viral replication.
