  • Adverse Reaction (Adverse Event, Side Effect)
    1. Adverse Reaction JAMA
      (Adverse Event.) An unwanted effect detected in clinical trial in participants. The term is used whether or not the effect can be attributed to the intervention under study. See Side Effects.
    2. Adverse Reaction (Adverse Event, Side Effect): SFAF
      a toxic reaction or side effect, e.g., due to treatment with a drug. Adverse reactions may range from mild effects such as rash, headache, nausea or drowsiness, to more severe effects such as peripheral neuropathy, bone marrow suppression, seizures and liver or kidney failure.
