An antiviral agent used to prevent or treat cytomegalovirus and herpes simplex infections that may occur when the body is immunosuppressed.
(Acycloguanosine.) A nucleoside analog (see) antiviral
drug used to treat the symptoms of herpes simplex virus (see) infection,
herpes zoster (shingles; see), and sometimes acute varicella zoster virus
(chicken pox). Also known as Zovirax.
